Hmmmm I only seem to make journal entries when I'm either panicking about something or I'm pissed off....Well I'm not really outright "pissed" this time...but I am really annoyed so I thought it was a good time to update my journal and maybe clear up a few things for the newer people watching me.

Okay....I DON'T TAKE REQUESTS...and I DEFINITELY don't give handouts to people I don't know well....in fact you gotta be on pretty tight terms with me in order to get ANYTHING from me for free. I say this cause I've been getting a LOT of people asking for requests lately and it makes me feel like a bitch when I gotta tell them that I don't take requests anymore. But seriously the reason I don't take requests is because if someone requests something I have no interest in, I'll either not do it or I'll do it REALLY half-assed and nobody wants that...I hate disappointing people.

I know I've talked about this before but I feel that I need to say it again. I really REALLY hate when people ASK for me to watch them...seriously that is like the RUDEST THING EVER! Watching a person isn't supposed to be like the Friend button on Myspace...well not to me anyway. I only watch people who's art I have an appreciation for and most of them I've never spoken to so I don't expect them to consider me an actual "friend". Though I do consider people who take the time to comment my works and actually talk to me friends...So don't worry people I love you all! But yeah...I don't HAVE to be watching you to consider you a friend...just wanted to get that out there.
Also I don't take "shameless self promotion" well...Like advertising your gallery or anything else at me...That's like #2 on the top rudest things to do on DA. I always go to people's page to thank them if they a bunch of stuff or watch me...so I always get a look at your gallery... I don't need you going "You're welcome! Hey go check out my gallery" cause I've already seen it and on most occasions am not impressed

Okay...what else is there for me to rant about?.........

OH! Concerning art trades!... I still do them. But I feel like I should clarify so things about them.
1.)Please only offer to do an art trade if you are a COMPETENT artist or writer (yes I accept fanfiction) Cause I don't want to do hard work on something then get something that's badly drawn as payment for that.
2.) Make sure that you'll be able to actually follow through with your end of the bargain...the last art trade I did I STILL haven't gotten my request...and it's been over 2 months....I mean it would be fine if they had told me that it was gonna take longer then they thought it would...but I haven't heard from them since I finished their request.
3.) Try to request things from things I've seen before. Or at the very least provide me with lots of reference.
4.) I'll draw OC's but I won't draw "Fan Characters"...I see them all as just another form of Mary Sue and I don't play that shit. Seriously why fuck up a good series that ALREADY HAS lots of good characters with interesting personalities with your generic little whores that are in love with so-n-so...sorry those just piss me off to no end...I find them degrading...no offense to anybody who has fan characters out there.
5.) I don't do Naruto art....that's just a policy of mine...I don't want to attract that crowd of people even though there are some Naruto characters that I like/can tolerate. (Rock Lee is FUCKING AWESOME!)
6.) I don't draw Furries/Fursona's/Anthropomorphic of any kind....even though I do like some anthro art(is one of my fav artists) in fact I'm cool with it as long as it's tasteful...but I'm not really comfortable with drawing it.

Well I guess that's it....I'm REALLY sorry if this offended anybody...this was just an excuse to blow off some steam and get some things outta the way...it wasn't aimed at anyone. (okay so maybe one or two parts was aimed at someone) But I love all you guys who actually bother to read my journals and remember this stuff...it does get so tiring to hafta say all this stuff over and over again...
